Frequently Asked Questions
How long will the construction take from start to finish?
The Construction work can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks or longer, depending
on the scope of the remodel.
We will discuss with you what time frame your project will incur.
What inconveniences can we expect?
We go to great lengths' to minimize any inconveniences that you will experience.
In a kitchen remodel, keep in mind that this area is the main part of your home.
This area will be out of bounds for the duration of the construction process.
Make sure that you have access to other sources of water as there may be no
running water in the kitchen. Appliances may also be out of commission during this time.
Same goes for a bathroom remodel, the area will be off limits until projects completetion.
What if I change my mind about the design or placement during construction?
This is not an unusual occurrence and is anticipated on every project. All changes
must be set forth in writing and signed off and agreed to. Changes ultimately cause
delays - when an item(s) must be ordered and delivered. We will discuss with you the
impact and delays that changes have on your project. These include but are not limited
to: additional costs and additional time to complete the project.
Who will answer my questions on the project?
We want you to be delighted about your new project, so do not hesitate to ask
questions. We suggest questions and comments be directed to the Lead Supervisor
on the job. This ensures that you will get the correct answers promptly and that
the crew will not be distracted.
Will my house be a mess?
We clean the construction area after work every day on the project. At the projects
competition, we do a complete vacuuming to clean up accumulated dust. You will
experience an increase in dust in your home during the construction, it is however,
unavoidable. We suggest that you place plastic tarps over furniture, flooring and
other objects in your home that you want to protect, or move them to another area
not affected by construction.
What time do you start working? What days of the week should we expect your team?
Our professional staff of construction personnel works Monday through Friday
from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This schedule is the most convenient for most of
our customers. We can adjust our hours to accommodate your busy schedule.
